This is collectors' edition number 111 of 200 copies made, bound in 1/4 leather and signed by the author, Gordon Lindsay Maclean, as well as the illustrator, Gail Darroll. The boards show only the slightest signs of edge wear, but remain otherwise strong and sturdy. Internally, there are ex-libris plates on and opposite the half title page. There are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are pristine, crisp and complete. Tightly bound and presented in its own (rather marked and scuffed) slipcase. JK. Signed by both Maclean and Darroll on the certification page. Certified name: William Barlow. Quarter leather. The book is housed in a clay coloured slipcase (leather lips/ brown edges). The case is scuffed, rubbed and marked from storage, shelving, handling. It is still handsome and healthy. The boards are wonderfully elegant. The leathered spine has five ridges, gilt borders and titling. The boards and spine are hale, sound. The contents are immaculate.
