About the author

Jim Harrison is the author of thirty books, including Legends of the Fall, Dalva, and Shape of the Journey. His work has been translated into two dozen languages and produced as four feature-length films. In 2007, Mr. Harrison was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He divides his time between Montana and southern Arizona.

Not marked, but from the library of naturalist-author and MacArthur Genius Grant-recipient Gary Paul Nabhan, known in particular for his writing on Indigenous populations and their ethnobotany in the Southwest. Nabhan and Harrison were neighbors and friends in Patagonia, Arizona. Nabhan is also a winner of then John Burroughs Medal for nature writing. This book is far less common found signed in its trade issue than the limited edition issue.
