Horsemanship: A Comprehensive Book on Training the Horse and Its Rider Hardcover - 2002

by Waldemar Seunig; Leonard Mins (Translator)

From the publisher

The latest addition to the Trafalgar Square Classics collection, Horsemanship remains one of the most comprehensive and enduring books ever written on the training of horse and rider, from the basics to haute cole.

First line

WE shall not discuss the possibility of purchasing an older horse that has seen more or less service from a dealer or from a private owner, since we are concerned in this chapter with ways of approaching the purchase of a foal that may be completely unbroken, perhaps, and of judging such a horse in the light of its future use.
