Modesty Blaise is a British comic strip featuring a fictional character of the same name, created by author Peter O'Donnell and illustrator Jim Holdaway in 1963. The strip follows Modesty Blaise, an exceptional young woman with many talents and a criminal past, and her trusty sidekick Willie Garvin.

The story was published as a novel in 1965 before the first movie appeared in 1966.

PETER O’DONNELL is the creator of Modesty Blaise, which was first published in 1963. The internationally successful character has appeared in book, film and comic forms.

NEVILLE COLVIN was a noted strip artist whose career began in the 1950s. He is most famous for illustrating Modesty Blaise, but also worked on James Bond and the fondly remembered Ginger & Co. Sadly, he died in 1991.
