EPAL - Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres, 2011. 128pp. Original stiff pictorial wraps. Small gift inscriptionto title-page and signed by Pedro Inácio.Text appears to be Portuguese. Illustrated (photographs throughout). Text in English. Pages are clean (unmarked) but slighty age-toned. Binding is tight and secure. Covers are scuffed/slightly soiled with bumping to upper corners, crease to lower left rear corner, rubbing to extremities. The twenty-two aqueducts in this book are the result of a work produced for the newspaper Águas Livres which, between February 2007 and November 2008, published twenty articles corresponding to a brief study and its photographic survey. From this research, some curiosities related to the history and construction of these water monuments stand out.
