An advertising poster for artist Jerry Pallotta's alphabet books, measuring 24 1/2 by 19 1/4 inches (622x489mm) and showing the full cover for "The Extinct Alphabet Book," published in 1993. A list of other titles is below. Illustrated by Ralph Masiello. Minor edgewear, and one corner creased, not affecting main image. Together with: "Butterfly Alphabet." Fairfax, VA, Sandved & Coleman Photography, (n.d.). An alphabetic poster measuring 24 by 18 inches (609x457mm) depicting photographs of each letter of the alphabet and the numerals 0-9 found naturally on the wings of butterflies. This project by Norwegian naturalist Kjell Bloch Sandved took over 24 years to complete. Title and signature printed in gold at the bottom. Very fine.
