The plot concerns professional violinist Michael who cannot forget his love fro Julia, a pianist he met in Vienna. They meet after a decade and conduct a secret affair despite her marriage. Their musical careers are then affected by this affair and the knowledge that Julia is turning deaf. Vikram Seth is an Indian novelist and poet. He has received many awards for his works. In original cloth binding and held in red dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is excellent with minor shelfwear. Synopsis
