Universal City: Universal Pictures, 1929. Vintage reference photograph from the 1929 movie serial, showing actor Frank Merrill subduing a crocodile. With the stamps of Kingsley Newspapers and RKO Radio Pictures on the verso, along with a date stamp reading 19 DEC 1955.

Based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' 1916 novel "Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar." Tarzan returns to Africa with his wife Lady Jane and his friend Albert Werper in tow to recover the treasure of Opar in order to secure his estates in England. The first appearance of the mighty, ululating "Tarzan yell," created by Merrill for the role.
