N.p.: N.p., 1976. Vintage borderless double weight reference photograph from the 1976 film, showing director-actor Roman Polanski and actress Isabelle Adjani. Collection stamp on the verso.

Based on the 1964 novel "Le locataire chimerique" (or "The Tenant" in the US edition) by Roland Topor. The third and final film in Polanski's "Apartment Trilogy," following "Repulsion" and "Rosemary's Baby," about a man who finds out that the previous tenant of his Parisian apartment attempted suicide by jumping out the window. Slowly, the man becomes obsessed with the tenant, taking on more and more of her habits, ultimately including her attempts at self destruction. Nominated for the Palme d'Or.

Set and shot on location in Paris.
