New York: Random House, 1952. First printing, association copy. Hardcover. Very good/very good. 334pp. Octavo [22 cm] 1/2 gray cloth with black paper over boards. The spine and boards are just a bit edge worn, and the pages are toned. In a dust jacket, with light rubbing and creasing, and occasional short closed and open tears in the edges. The jacket has a dampstain along the bottom edge (only visible on the reverse). The stain is light, and measures approximately 2 x 3/4".
Ex-libris Charles F. Richter, with his signature on the front free endpaper. Charles Francis Richter was an American physicist and seismologist who developed the Richter scale for measuring earthquake magnitude. Stories never before published in an anthology.
