The hottest rare books on the internet

Lophophorus L'Huysii
As of the time of this writing, Arader Books just posted this beautiful Elliot plate. Get it and other rare finds while they're still available!

(No, not that kind of “hot”: if you’re looking for information on stolen books, be sure to check out ABAA’s stolen and missing books blog.)

Meanwhile, if you’re like most serious book collectors, another thing that’s critical to building your book collection is to get the first look and first jump on the best rare books as they come on the market – particularly if you’re in a highly competitive niche like rare childrens’ books.  Many book collectors will use wants or saved searches for very specific items, but sometimes the truly rare find is the one you didn’t realize you were even looking for!

To that end, we’ve put together an ever-updating list of newly arrived rare books that are just now hitting the market.  Make sure to bookmark it or subscribe to it, but either way, check back often to make sure that rare or antiquarian find doesn’t slip through your fingers!
