Thanks to everyone who applied for this year’s Don Dario scholarship to the 2011 Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar. The process of naming one winner is always extremely difficult for our selection committee, but this year brought a record number of applicants, and the entries this year were universally high quality.
After much deliberation, our committee has selected Hamlin Endicott of Grateful Dead Books LLC for this year’s scholarship.
In addition to full tuition to the week-long seminar and $250 toward travel and accommodation expenses, Hamlin will have all monthly fees rebated for one year of Biblio’s lowest commission billing option.
Hamlin has chosen the Georgia Humanities Council for the $250 charitable contribution portion.
We wish Hamlin great travels, and anxiously await hearing about his experiences at the seminar.
To the many booksellers that sadly we couldn’t choose this year, we hope that you will apply again next year!
