It’s the birthday of Nobel prize-winning author Pablo Neruda (July 12, 1904 – September 23, 1973). Pablo Neruda was the pen name and, later, the legal name of Chilean poet, diplomat and politician Neftalí Ricardo Reyes Basoalto. He is well known for his exquisitely beautiful yet controversial collection of love poetry, Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair.
I’m a big fan of Neruda and was surprised to find so many beautiful and unique copies of his work on the Biblio.com website. So I rounded up a collection of Neruda’s writings, ranging from reading copies to rare collectibles.
