Biblio.com is pleased to offer a scholarship to the 2014 Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar.
The Don Dario Scholarship was named in honor of a community leader who was instrumental in helping us open the first public library in Bolivia. We are proud to award the annual scholarship to a Biblio bookseller in recognition of their experience and professionalism in the book trade.
The scholarship is open to any registered Biblio.com bookseller.
The Don Dario scholarship recipient will receive:
* The full cost of tuition
* $250 toward accommodations at the facilities provided by the seminar
* $250 donation to a non-profit of their choice that promotes literacy and/or education
* Additionally, the winner will receive one free year of listing fees, along with Biblio’s lowest commission option.
Applicants should provide:
* A few paragraphs on why you hope to attend the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar. (no more than one single-spaced page)
* A brief description of the charity you would choose to receive the donation and why you chose them. (again, no more than one single-spaced page)
Email your entry and/or any questions about the scholarship to scholarship@biblio.com by July 1, 2014.
The scholarship winner will be notified within 7-10 days of the application deadline.
