Attention Biblio Booksellers!

Biblio is pleased to offer a scholarship to the 2015 Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar. Over the past years, we’ve been able to share this scholarship opportunity with wonderful bookshops like Black Paw Books, Renaissance Books, Charity Bookstall, Act 2 Books, and Grateful Dead Books.

Named in honor of a community leader who was instrumental in helping us open the first public library in Bolivia, the Don Dario Scholarship is provided annually to one bookseller in recognition of their experience and professionalism in the book trade.

This year’s scholarship recipient will receive:

* The full cost of tuition

* $250 toward accommodations at the facilities provided by the seminar

* $250 donation to a non-profit of their choice that promotes literacy and/or education

Additionally, the winner will receive one free year of listing fees, along with Biblio’s lowest commission option.

The scholarship is open to any registered Biblio.com bookseller.

 Applicants should provide:

1. A few paragraphs on why you hope to attend the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar. (no more than one single-spaced page)

2. A brief description of the charity you would choose to receive the donation and why you chose them. (again, no more than one single-spaced page)

Email your entry and/or any questions about the scholarship to scholarship@biblio.com by May 30, 2015.

The scholarship winner will be notified within 7-10 days of the application deadline.

Best of luck to all of our scholarship applicants!
