Southern African Book Dealers Association
SABDA is the official body for out-of-print book dealers in Southern Africa. SABDA's Constitution is designed to improve standards of professional service to customers and allow members to speak on matters of common interest. All members adhere to the Constitution and Code of Ethics. What our members offer:
- A selection of books available from stock held on their premises
- Conservative and full descriptions of their listed stock
- A stated return policy for books incorrectly identified, incorrectly described, or damaged in transit
- Personal service - deal with a human being and not a computer programme
- Packing of a standard designed to protect the book in transit
- Knowledge, experience, integrity, and fair-dealing
- Guaranteed provenance of all items offered for sale
