Charles Reno, Nathaniel Taylor, and Charles Whitson of Carter Co., Tenn., are bound to Abraham Clark for $200 until the appeal is settled. If Reno wins the appeal or loses and pays this judgement, then this bond is void. Signed by Reno, Taylor, and Whitson, as well as George Williams, who was clerk of the county court from 1796 to 1836. Nathaniel Taylor (1771-1816) was a brigadier general in the War of 1812. In Near Fine Condition: old folds; a few original ink smudges; otherwise, clean and bright.
