About This Item
Boots. First Edition. (Cambridge: Boots Ltd Booksellers and Fine Art Publishers n.d. circa 1900). First Edition. A softcover oblong magazine. 32 black and white images, printed both sides, no motor vehicles, circa 1900. A rare item, no copies on Libraryhub or ABE/Biblio at the time of listing. Edge worn and with an old light crease down the middle, images not affected. Size is 21 cm by 28 cm approx. I suspect that many copies of this scarce piece of Cambridge University ephemera will have been broken up for the photographic plates. The only example of this magazine that I can find was sold at Bonhams Oxford in 2015. Rare. Photographs/scans available upon request.
