near fine+ in very good+ dust jacket. A very nice copy, hard to find in exceptional condition because many were read multiple times. The book itself is pretty nice for a 60+ year old book: boards generally clean, softness to corners but mostly straight, pages relatively clean, tiniest hint of age-toning to the text-block, but minimal, tiny transparent spot, about 1/8" diameter on the long edge of the text-block . The dust jacket is very bright and clean, main shortcomings are tiny chips to the top of the spine on the edges, but really not too bad. Slight toning to the spine and back of the dust jacket, very typical of books from the 1950's and 1960's. Still an above-average copy. Lowest prices for copies with nearly fine dust jackets are typically $750 and up. Priced to sell.
