52 Fairy Tales has the original red buckram binding, that is bevelled, with a stunning illustration and gilt lettering to the front board, and gilt lettering and illustration to the spine, with a plain back board.
There are 447 numbered pages, all edges gilt, with black endpapers to the front and back of the book, and a one-page advertisement to the end of the book for other books in the The Fifty-Two Library. There are numerous highly attractive black and white illustrations throughout this wonderful fairy tale book, with the original tissue guard still present between the frontispiece and title page.
Condition of the Binding:
The binding is in Very Good + condition with light dust staining to the front board and fading to the spine, knocks to the top and bottom of the spine. This is a very attractive binding for this collectable fairy tales book.
Condition of the Pages:
The pages are in overall Very Good + condition being extremely clean.
