Top 1/2 inch of backstrip missing, covers worn with some soiling, tiny losses to backstrip from insect damage, hinges broken but attached, some loss to fore edge of front free endpaper, endpapers moderately soiled, rear endpaper and last page detached otherwise text block is tight and pages clean. An uncommon publication, with just one holding in WorldCat (Missouri Historical Society). Up to page 161 illustrations of the machinery on offer is either single or fold-out, with another page with lengthy description of the item.
