Arbroath, UK: T. Buncle, 1886. Hardcover. Aberbrothock Illustrated Being the Round O Etchings in Miniature by John Adam (Edingburgh) with Historical and Topographical Notes by George Hay. Light brown cloth with gilted blindstamped picture to front, gilt titling to spine, top of textblock edge is gilted, endpapers illustrated with a representation of the botany of the district, 86 pages of text followed by 124 miniature etchings. Some edge and shelf wear, foxing to texblock edge, foxing to textblock decreasing toward the middle of the book, much less foxing at the end of the book, school prize inscription with the year of the date rubbed out, hinges cracked but holding firm.
