Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Visible wear marks to boards. Clipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Moderate tanning, water and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.

Random House, 1965. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. From the private library of William H. Matchett, with his bookplate pastedown on the ffep. 84 pp., 8vo. - measuring over 5 1/2 in. x 8 1/2 in. One quarter black cloth with brown boards and gilt titles stamped on the spine. The dust jacket has cream panels with a teal topstain. A lovely copy with light foxing on the fore-edge of the pages, else Very Good. The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with a 1/10 in. tear on the front panel and a correction made in pen by Matchett on the black flap.
