Eleven stories plus a four-page introduction by the author, who was mainly a playwright, plus a list of adages about women. All the material is essentially sympathetic to women. In his introduction, the author claims he is reworking notes left by an old friend, Mr. Henry William Mollentrave, who was "a collector of women." Spine lean, top edge of text block dusty, a sound, good copy. (#117284)
