First Edition. Keate's narrative of the shipwreck of the Antelope off the hitherto unexplored Pelew Islands in 1783 includes a full and interesting description of the manners and customs of the islanders. Constructing a small ship from the wreckage, the crew managed to reach Macao, and eventually arrived safely in England.
