Hardcover, no jacket. 396pp + 4pp adverts. Eight tinted plates as called for plus color map frontis. Ex library with sticker to spine, bookplate to front pastedown and pouch to rear pastedown; negligible other markings. The boards and spine are very worn, and the biinding is a bit cocked. The interior in contrast is very good, Unmarked, clean, and unfoxed with secure binding. The plates are all in great shape. Detailed observations of life and politics at the time in Mexico, including the major cities (Puebla, Vera Cruz, Mexico City, Guadalajara, etc) and the environs including hacienda life. (cfm)
