Garden City: Doubleday & Company, Inc, 1956. 128p., numerous b&w publicity stills, press photography and childhood snapshots, hardbound first edition (so stated), jet-black cloth spine-titled in red. Lacks the dust jacket. A nice copy; the gloss on the boards only slightly disturbed by handling, mild crimping of head and tail rims, joints and hinges in fine shape, faintest toning to endsheets (which are not marred by ownership or any other sort of marking), a nice --in fact a very good-- copy of a not-surprisingly scarce book.
