A partial record of the activities of the anti-slave movement by an insider and an activist. Pillsbury (1809-1898) was a reformer, Garrisonian abolitionst, editor and lecturer. He was an ardent advocate of women's rights and was the publisher with Susan B. Anthony of The Revolution.
