Blue cloth, in grey and orange dust jacket, grey topstain; [xii],[380]pp; publisher's ads to dust jacket rear panel, and blurbs to both flaps. Sound, gently rubbed, with a slight forward lean: Very Good or better. Dust jacket unclipped (priced $2.50 below blurb); browned on spine and along edges, mildly rubbed at edges with one or two tiny tears: Very Good.

Early reprint. Winner of the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for fiction and the Prix Femina-Vie Heureuse.
