Full tan leather; spine has black-leather title-label with gilt letters and gilt-outlined hubs; no dust jacket (as issued); title pages is missing; 'Advertisement to the Present [i.e., 3rd] Edition' is dated 1846; 1456 pages; scuffs and discolorations to boards; front board detached from backstrip for 3 inches at top joint; rubbing at corners, with some fraying at bottom front fore-edge corner; small chips at corners of leather title label; damp-stains around corners of endpapers; damp-stains at top and fore-edge margins of first thousand pages, text unaffected; olive-sized hole in flyleaf, with loss of some advertising text; back interior hinge split but intact; minor pencil writing on front endpapers; pencilled arithmetic problem and writing on back endpapers; ship same or next day in bubblewrap; email confirmation; standard mail takes 4-14 days; expedited mail takes 2-5 days; international orders shipped by global priority mail (5-7 days) whenever possible.
