Pale green printed and stapled wraps. 12pp. James Farley was among the first Irish-Catholics to achieve political success at a high level in the U.S. as Postmaster General and the Chairman of the DNC and is widely seen as responsible for F.D.R.'s rise to the presidency, particularly in forging alliances among Catholics, African-Americans, labor unions and farmers. Scarce, OCLC only locates two holdings. Center-creasing (likely from being originally mailed in an envelope) and previous owner's date and name stamp ("Finley P. Curtis, P.M.") to front wrap, light age-toning to wraps.
