In a dust jacket, with darkening to the jacket's spine, subtle soiling, and occasional small chips in the edges. Ex-libris Oswald Train, with his bookplate on the front pastedown. Oswald Train helped found the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society, and was a main figure behind Prime Press. He went on to found Oswald Train Publisher, which primarily published detective fiction, although it published a bit of science fiction as well. From the collection of Berkeley book collector and letter press printer, John Ruyle, with his notes in pencil on the front free endsheet. Cited in Locke. Day, The Supplemental Checklist of Fantastic Literature. A science fiction novel of a newly discovered planet, which the author wrote when he was in his eighties.
