Longmans, Green & Co, London. 1908. Hardback, no DW. Green cloth, gilt extra. Colour frontis and b&w illustrations. Spine is sunned and has a slight lean. Gift inscription to front endpaper, the endpapers are browned, and some foxing throughout. Overall a nice copy.
Synopsis
The classic tale of a man shipwrecked on a remote island, and his struggle to retain his humanity against the forces of nature, as well as do battle with his own fears and loneliness.
