This is an early, antique copy of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" by Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens). 1892; American Publishing Company; Hartford, CT. The book contains illustrations throughout. Decorative floral end papers.
Condition:
Some very light soiling to the covers and spine; light fraying to the top and bottom edges of the spine; small cloth tears to the corner tips. Tight binding. Crack at front hinge - the first 2 end papers are detached 2" up from the bottom edge. The text pages are in great condition - mostly clean and white with only a few random pages with a stain or foxing spot; no writing found. The top edge of the front pastedown has a dime-sized surface tear.
