Good. 8vo, dark blue cloth binding with gilt lettering and black embossed decoration, spine faded, new endpapers, first pages through table of contents page professionally replaced with mimeo-graphed copies, library stamp on copied title page, no other library markings, binding is tight, a few smudges on interior pages, and professional repair on top edge of one page, illustrated with engravings, 275 pages" .

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain, is a popular 1876 novel about a young boy growing up in the antebellum South on the Mississippi River in the town of St. Petersberg, based on the town of Hannibal, Missouri.
