In near fine plus red and white patterned boards and cream coloured spine with gilt titles. The boards are very flat, firm and clean; spine and edges strong. Slightly foxed end papers; very brief dedication on front free end paper. The text block is tightly bound and straight; very light foxing to Prelims and end pages and some text pages. Foreword by Evelyn Waugh. With sketches by Belloc; red subtitles in margins. Not annotated. Very good condition. Overall condition also very good. Inside good dust jacket that replicates the boards with black titles. The jacket is quite clean, edge-worn, with chips and small open and closed tears and one larger open tear to rear top edge. Not price clipped.The inside of the jacket is a little foxed.
