Dark green coloured endpapers. Coloured illustrated frontispiece, being an impression of the MacArthur Family home, The Vineyard, by Cosmos Julien. Within the text there are numerous line drawings illustrating the menus. The text is printed on yellow coloured stock. Green coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the spine. Illustrated dustwrapper, again by Cosmos Julien, with yellow and green coloured background and maroon coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. When Anne Maria MacArthur set up her home in Parramatta Valley with her husband one of the most prized possession was a letter written to her from a friend of the family, known only as Mrs. E. "To create this gracious family home, Maria relied heavily on the detailed and delightful advice given by her 'godmother'.". -- from the from rear panel blurb. Corners are slightly scuffed and the head and heel of spine are bumped. Previous owner's name to the page following the free front endpaper.
