Aeschylus was born in the last quarter of the 6th Century BC; about 513 BC. He left behind more than 70 plays of which 7 have survived. He was known as the father of Greek tragedy and presented are four of his tragedies of which only Prometheus Bound is in doubt as to its true authorship. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
