Isn't it interesting that today's school struggle with funding, think of selling ads on busses, etc. But in 1908 there was business sponsorship for the yearbooks already? SIgma Phi Epsilon, Sigma Nu Fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, football and baseball team photos and some military uniformed students' photos. West Raleigh, NC: The Senior Class of the North Carolina College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts, 1906. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Hardback. First Edition. This book is dedicated to Civil War General and English Professor Dr. Daniel Harvey Hill. Frontispiece of Dr. Hill and his printed signature. There is an additional illustration of a woman on the front fly page by W. M. Kenly with a thin flap page over it. Decently clean pages with no apparent creasing or marginalia; there are some markings and browning from age. The book contains list, descriptions, and information on the different classes, groups, clubs, fraternities, etc. of the college. To go along with these, there are black and white illustrations/photographs throughout the text. For each of the fraternities, there is a page holding a yellowish-white and black imprint of the Greek symbols and design. On the back fly page there are many signatures in graphite.
