About This Item
Gale & Polden, 1930. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Second year of issue. The boards are quite shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked. The corners are knocked and frayed but the boards are otherwise strong and square, with bright gold gilt to the front and spine. Internally, there is an ex-libris plate on the front pastedown. There is some tanning around the edges throughout, but there are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete with all maps and coloured plates present. JK.
