Includes 256 objects of sculpture, paintings, drawings and jewelry. Text of the catalogue is divided into five chronological sections each of which is accompanied by a detailed chronology. The exhibition emphasized the artist's early career into the 1940s when he created his first mobiles, stabiles and standing mobiles. The monumental public sculptures from the last two-and-a-half decades of his career is the focus of the final section. The publication also includes an essay titled "Staging Movement" by Arnauld Pierre and a detailed exhibition history by Alexander S.C. Rower.
