Grey cloth boards with title in metallic red on spine. Boards show light shelf wear and spine slant. Foredges are foxed and soiled. Foxed endpapers. Text pages are clean. Very nice color photo illustrated dust jacket with $ 12.95 price present on fly leaf. Lightly chipped at corners and spine ends. Faint water mark to upper rear edge. Rear of jacket is tanned, light soil. Looks very nice when placed in new protective mylar. Always carefully wrapped and shipped in cardboard boxes to protect your purchase.
Synopsis
"A" Is for Alibi is the first novel in the Kinsey Millhone series by crime writer Sue Grafton. It was published in 1982. The first printing of "A" Is for Alibi was 7,500 copies. Grafton based the story to some extent on her own 'fantasies' of murdering her then husband prior to divorce.
