London: Headley Bros Red pictorial boards with gilt design. Corners and spine bumped, edges of worn. Sides of spine fraying a little near the top. Some small scuff marks to boards .Decorated endpapers. Six colour plates with their protective covering, and black and white illustrations throughout. Some pages have a small chip to top of page, text not affected. No date. Hinges are cracked, and hinges visible at some joints but text block tight. [c. 1911]. Hardback. Good. Illus. by George Soper. 9 x 7 Inches Approx.

Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, tell the story of a young girl in a fantasy world filled with peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. The classic tale of literary nonsense takes the reader on an exploration of logic and absurdities.
