"With all the original illustrations by John Tenniel" Front and back end papers illustrated in green. FO name and address as well as date of 1929 in pencil to FFEP but no publishing date. No other marks. Light age tanning with occasional foxing throughout. Text block tight but binding just beginning to give. Cover has light wear to spine and edges as well as a slash across spine. Extensive light spotting and speckling to back cover. Digital photos available. ; Small 8vo 7½" - 8" tall; 156 pages .

Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, tell the story of a young girl in a fantasy world filled with peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. The classic tale of literary nonsense takes the reader on an exploration of logic and absurdities. The Alice books — sometimes combined or referred to with the abbreviated title Alice in Wonderland — have been translated into at least 97 languages with over a hundred different editions.
