Waco, TX: Texian Press, 1986. Sesquicentennial Edition. FINE IN FINE DJ. 44pp., index, appendix, photographs

The parallel between Chappell Hill and the neighboring Washington County town of Independence is rather remarkable. Both were founded under similar circumstances within a few years of each other. The history of Independence has often been told and well documented, but that of Chappell Hill has not been sufficiently recorded, this publication will help correct that.
