Heinemann, 1930. 1st edition. Hardcover. Signed by the author, no 410 of the limited edition of 1025 copies issued. Very fine contents, with frontispiece drawing of the author, in original tan cloth, a trifle rubbed, slightly darkened spine with gilt lettering. A very nice copy of the author's anti-war novel, his best-known work.
