Longmans, Green and co. London. 1887. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (7.6 x 5.2 inches). Illustrated with 20 mono plates engraved on wood by J. Cooper from drawings by C. H. M. Kerr. A very good copy bound in early twentieth century half dark green morocco, spine with raised bands, gilt. Compartments decorated and lettered in gilt. Green cloth on boards. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Previous owners armorial bookplate to the front pastedown endpaper. A very good copy in a fine leather binding.
