Black', and no. 274 of 300 Edition de Luxe printed.A charming description of the region from English art critic, cartographer and mountaineer William Martin Conway, and illustrated in colour by illustrator and landscape painter Arthur David McCormick.With seventy colour plates, including frontispiece, each with a captioned tissue guard. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Bumping to spine head and tail, with two small closed tears to back strip head. Bumping to board extremities, with light marks and rubbing to boards. Front and rear hinges starting, but holding firm. Contemporary inscription to front endpaper. Signed and numbered to verso of half title. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with the odd spot. Good
