Mounted photograph frontispiece portrait, 31 further plates, including 4 folding maps, a further photographic mounted plate, 2 folding engraved plates. Original red cloth flexible boards, gilt lettering to spine, gilt vignette to upper board, blind bordering. Spine faded, some areas of discolouration to boards, rubbed to extremities. Free endpapers untidily removed. Smudge to lower corner margin of frontispiece. Short closed tear to margin of one folding plate. Occasional edge or corner creases. A little edge spotting.
