Norfolk, VA: The Chrysler Museum, October, 1980. VERY GOOD. HATFIELD BOOKS AND MEMORABILIA, a FIVE STAR SELLER, presents AMERICAN FIGURE PAINTING 1950 - 1980, a RARE oversized (8 1/2" x 10 1/2"--may require additional postage) soft cover which served as a catalogue for the Exhibition by the same name at The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, VA between Oct. 17 and Nov. 30, 1980. At the time, Mr. Styron was the Curator of American and Contemporary Art at The Chrysler. 116 pages filled with both black and white and color illustrations. Overall book is VERY GOOD. Pages = Near Fine: slightly yellowed, owner's name on reverse front cover, else tight, clear, no additional marks, sharp, square. Cover (color detail of Richard Diebenkorn's painting "Coffee" on black glossy stiff paper, with particulars in orange and white) = Very Good Minus: substantial rubbing to front and back, creases on front and spine, else tight, sharp clear and square.
